Welcome to the Center of Orthopedic Excellence

The Center of Orthopedic Excellence is mid-Missouri’s most advance practice for minimally invasive orthopedic procedures, sport injury rehabilitation, and non-operative treatment options.  Dr. Timothy Galbraith is among the area’s most innovative orthopedic surgeons, with fellowship training in arthroscopy and sports medicine.  Dr. Gregg Kuhlmann is a primary care physician who received advanced fellowship training in sports medicine.  Not only do they have a keen knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries, but also an understanding of how exercise can affect any aspect of the human body.  They and their staff provide a professional treatment environment for patients of all ages.

Dr. Galbraith and Dr. Kuhlmann can provide diagnosis, treatment, injury prevention and rehabilitation services for injuries to the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, spine, hip, knee, and ankle and foot.  Dr. Galbraith employs arthroscopic techniques on many of these joints, which are minimally invasive and speed your recovery from injury.   He has a significant depth of knowledge and experience with surgical treatment, while Dr. Kuhlmann places his emphasis on non-operative modalities, focusing on rehabilitation techniques.  Dr. Kuhlmann can also treat all non-musculoskeletal aspects of sports medicine, particularly athletes with chronic and acute illnesses (such as infectious mononucleosis, asthma or diabetes), nutrition, supplements, ergogenic aids, performance issues, exercise prescription for patients who want to increase their fitness, return to play decisions, and healthy lifestyle promotion.
